About this calculator

This tool visualizes your life against an assumed average life expectancy of 80 years, counted exactly from your date of birth using real calendar arithmetic (so leap years are taken into account — the total usually lands around 29,200–29,220 days, roughly 30,000). Every statistic on this page — days, weeks, Fridays and the grid — is derived from that same total.

The grid below is inspired by the classic “life in weeks” visualization: each square is one week of your life, arranged 52 per row (one row per year). Filled squares are weeks already lived, the bright square is the current week, and dim squares are weeks still ahead. The live counter above ticks down to the second using your local clock.

Entering a name saves your birth year and total months lived to a public leaderboard (rate-limited to a few submissions per day per device, like the other benchmarks on this site) — a lighthearted ranking of who has lived the most months. No exact birth date or personal data beyond the year is stored.
