About EXIF and photo privacy
Digital cameras and phones can store EXIF data alongside image pixels. It may include the device model, capture date, lens settings and camera orientation, which can be useful when organizing photos.
If location services were enabled, a photo may also contain GPS coordinates. Sharing such a file can disclose where it was taken, so it is worth checking metadata before posting photos publicly.
This tool reads common metadata in JPEG/JFIF, PNG, WebP and TIFF files, then redraws supported images into a new file without the original metadata blocks. The download is checked again; the original is not changed.
