About the Solar System quiz
The Solar System contains eight planets orbiting the Sun. Rocky inner planets differ from the gas and ice giants farther out. Learning their order helps build a mental map of our neighbourhood.
Planetary temperatures, densities and gravity reveal very different environments. Venus is hotter on average than Mercury despite being farther from the Sun. Reference values describe broad conditions, not the weather at every location.
Moons offer another way to explore planetary families. Earth’s Moon, Jupiter’s Galilean satellites and Neptune’s Triton have distinct histories. Practice with short quizzes, review missed answers and explore the interactive Solar System model.
