About QR codes
A QR code is a two-dimensional symbol that can hold text, a web address or contact details. Its square pattern can be read by a camera, making it useful on posters, tickets, packaging and screens.
The code may point to an unfamiliar website, so reading its contents first is safer than following it automatically. Look carefully at the full address before opening a link, especially when the code comes from an unknown source.
Good lighting, sharp focus and enough space around the symbol help scanning. If a camera cannot recognize the code, try a clearer image or move the device closer while keeping the whole symbol in frame.
